Automobile Accident Claims & Litigation
According to the Department of Justice, nearly 60% of tort trials were automobile accident lawsuits.
It's no secret that claims adjusters have a heavy workload. When handling a vehicle accident claim, they need eyes and ears in the field. The same goes for a defense council preparing for litigation.
Both often have questions that they need answered in order to move forward:
- What does the accident site look like? What hazards may have contributed to the accident?
- What does the Police Report say? Are there Police photos? Has the responding emergency personnel been interviewed?
- Has the area been canvassed for witnesses? What additional information can these witnesses provide?
- Is the claimant still working?
- What does that claimant do in his/her leisure time?
- Is this consistent with their claim?
Our experts will answer these questions. In addition; we will also locate witnesses, obtain written or recorded statements and still photos. If necessary, we can document the claimant's public activities on video. In short, our job is to help determine if a claimant is being honest.
If, through investigation, we find that a claimant's activities are not consistent with recorded statements or court testimony, defense council may decide to impeach the claimant's credibility by introducing our field support in court.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, than video is priceless! Many times, the evidence we gather can be used to negotiate a settlement in the client's favor… before the trial even begins, saving time and money.
Tracker Investigations uses only experienced investigators. Our expert evidence and testimony holds up in any court.
